Outreach activities
The department of Public Health Dentistry is conducting enormous oral screening and treatment camps for the community in and around Bangalore District. At the camps we provide free oral health services such as dental check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, fluoride treatments, and oral hygiene education. These outreach activities are commonly organized in schools, villages, colleges, workplaces, and underserved rural or urban areas.

At school students are screened for oral diseases and treated for the same. Oral health education is provided for them regarding the importance of maintaince of oral hygiene.

Satellite centres
Satellite Centers to cater to the needy populations making oral healthcare more accessible, faster, and convenient. These centers are three in number located at Kannamangala, Handenahalli and Mandur. These centers are managed by the Department of Public Health Dentistry. At these centers we provide basic oral health care services and also conduct IEC activities and awareness Programmes on oral health.
