DR K. Karpagaselvi is Professor and head at department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology. She did her Bachelors in Dental Surgery and Masters in subject of Oral Pathology and Microbiology from Government Dental college and Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She is a recognized by Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences as a Postgraduate Guide since 2010 and Phd guide since 2016. She is a fellow of oral and maxillofacial pathology awarded by Indian association of oral and maxillofacial pathology after clearing the examination. She has been awarded fellow of Indian board of Forensic Odontology after undergoing training and examination.
She is a keen clinical oral pathologist and passionate academician with more than 26 years of experience. She has numerous Publications to her credit. She has presented papers at national and international conferences. She has participated as invited guest speaker, Panelist and moderator in subject related various Continuing Dental Educations Programmes. She is reviewer for Peer reviewed journals. She has been appointed as member secretary of Vydehi institute of dental sciences institutional ethics committee and as basic scientist for Vydehi institutional ethics committee. She has been appointed as member of advisory board of Bangalore Society of oral Pathologist for oral cancer.
