Dr. Nirupama D.N has completed her Undergraduation from Sri Ramachandra Dental College, Chennai in the year 2000 and completed her Postgraduation in the subject of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre in the year 2012. She has a total of 14 yrs. of teaching experience for UG & 9 yrs.for PG.
Presently she is working as Reader in the Dept.& a recognized PG guide, actively involved in Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching & research programs at the institute. She is an approved examiner in various universities. Besides actively participating in Anti Ragging Workshop, CDE at the institute, she has also enthusiastically participated in thePostgraduate state level Rapid Recap Programs, by deliveringa lecture as a guest speaker and as a moderator. She has National & International publications to her credit. She has attended National & International Conferences and presented Posters & Research Papers. She is also a Member of theInstitutional Ethical Committee, VIDS & RC. She is a member of the Federation of Operative Dentistry of India (FODI) & the Association of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics of Karnataka (ACE-K).
During the pandemic 2020-2021 she was a COVID CARE core team member and has taken up the designated logistics-related responsibilities towards COVID CARE MANAGEMENT at VIMS & RC.
Along with her active participation in the academic activities in the Dept. she is also the Administrative Officer, VIDS & RC & a Member Secretary, Medical Executive Committee, VIMS & RC.
