Selection of Students

Seats are allotted by merit selection done based on Common Entrance Test (KRLMPCA) conducted followed by Centralized Counseling.

15 seats (15% on total intake) allotted under NRI / Foreigner category on Merit selection.

Eligibility Criteria Admission for Indian Students

A candidate is eligible if he/she has passed the 12th year of schooling with physics, chemistry and biology as optional subjects provided he/she ahs secured not less than 50% of the total marks in the Science subjects taken together at the qualifying examination.

Any other examinations recognized as equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission procedure for NRIs / Foreign Nationals

Examinations recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences are:

Britain: G.C.E. examination of U.K with passes in – 5 subjects at least at Ordinary level and 2 subjects at Advanced Level or – 4 subjects at Ordinary level and 3 subjects at Advanced Level

Kuwait: General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (12 year course) conducted by the Ministry of Education Kuwait

United Arab Emirates: General Secondary Education Certificate awarded by the Ministry of Education. United Arab Emirates.

U.S.A.: 12-year High School Diploma of U.S.A.

Iran: (1) Secondary School Certificate Examination (Community School Tehran). (2) Sixth Year Certificate of Secondary Schools (Ministry of Education & Training (3) 4th year Diploma of the Secondary Schools. (12 year course offered under the new pattern of School education)

Malaysia: Malaysian Certificate of Education (University of Cambridge Local Exams). Selection of Students
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) of the Government of Karnataka shall conduct the centralized counseling for PG courses (Dental-MDS), and seats are allotted by merit selection which is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET - MDS) conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.

Seats sharing and reservation as per Consensual Agreement Between Government Of Karnataka And Association Of Minority Professional Colleges In Karnataka (AMPCK) In The Matter Of Regulating Admissions And Fee Structure To The Post Graduate (Dental-MDS) Course In Private Professional Colleges of Dental Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration, and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college.
A candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by the prescribed cut-off date for internship completion for a particular admission session along with eligibility in NEET-MDS entrance test for the respective Academic year.
